Starting from the cascade model (Haines-Young, Potschin, 2011), the paper deals with the re-interpretation of the urban standards, in a dynamic and strategic, scalar and multi-actor, smart and sustainable way, thus responding to a complex social demand, connected to economic needs and environmental issues, to experiment new forms of territorial compensation and enhancement and contribute to improving quality of planning and urban living. Solutions are proposed to maximize the multiple benefits produced, through a flexible management and tradeoffs of uses, ecological functions and values.

Abstract
Starting from the cascade model (Haines-Young, Potschin, 2011), the paper deals with the re-interpretation of the urban standards, in a dynamic and strategic, scalar and multi-actor, smart and sustainable way, thus responding to a complex social demand, connected to economic needs and environmental issues, to experiment new forms of territorial compensation and enhancement and contribute to improving quality of planning and urban living. Solutions are proposed to maximize the multiple benefits produced, through a flexible management and tradeoffs of uses, ecological functions and values.File in questo prodotto:
