Abstract

The research involves architecture and urban heritage studies in order to completely trace the characteristics of the fortification plans of the limit and carry out a wide-ranging assessment of the territory and its changes. In this way, a reflection is outlined on the possible redefinition of fortified areas as a common good in order to implement a design of near future architectures and cities aware of the formal and structural metamorphoses linked to the physical closure of the limits which opens crises, produces oscillations and systems antinomian settlements.
