Over the last ten years, from 2000 till today, Raffaele Panella has been delving into the Emilian context via a series of projects entirely dedicated to the idea of ‘community’. The picture which emerges from the work of one of the leading players in Italian architecture, reconstructed in this book through an analysis of six projects united by their belonging to a single territory, indicates the finalisation of a personal compositional technique. A path which sprang from the example of masters of modern architecture, honed its theoreticalpractical contours through research and lecturing, first in Venice and later on in Rome, and became consolidated and enriched through contact with the territory and individual places. Rooting allows architecture to rediscover a fruitful rapport with the city, favouring the quest for the urban dimension within the architectural project, in analogy with the very best Emilian tradition.

Abstract
Rooting allows architecture to rediscover a fruitful rapport with the city, favouring the quest for the urban dimension within the architectural project, in analogy with the very best Emilian tradition.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
