A Venezia Carlo Naya, Giuseppe Canella e molti altri utilizzarono l’apparecchio fotografico sotto un profilo squisitamente artistico, dando rilievo soprattutto al carattere spettacolare della propria ricerca visiva. Fotografo e pittore concorrevano dunque insieme a delineare una poetica che non li vedeva antagonisti ma piuttosto alleati nell’interpretazione di una sola forte tensione culturale. / In Venice, Carlo Naya, Giuseppe Canella and many others used the camera from an exquisitely artistic perspective, emphasising above all the spectacular character of their visual research.
