OFFICINA* n.44 reflect on how to design age-friendly cities, homes, and spaces of sociality collecting contributions ranging from large to small scale, addressing several topics: transversal and complex issues such as climate change concerning the fragility of the elderly population to ensure autonomy of life; how different approaches to design contribute to find solutions to ensure active and healthy ageing in both metropolitan cities and rural and inner areas; in which way home can become the first place of care thanks to digital technologies, and ensuring a constant relationship with the outside and with green areas then with the seasonality and over time.
