Creation of the new Museum of the Truffle located in the historic city center of Alba, Italy, housed within an ancient architectural complex. Awarded in 2026, but completed in 2024 for the Municipality of Alba, the intervention spans a total area of 850 square meters and was co-designed by ASArchitects (Antonello Stella, Simone Braschi, Francesca Cosentino, Michele Croce, Chiara Finizza, Lorenzo Fantino) and Gabriele Toneguzzi (museum exhibit consultant) and Hellobarrio. The project stands as a prominent example of contemporary exhibition design and adaptive reuse, seamlessly integrating an innovative and immersive exhibition layout while respecting the pre-existing historic architecture. Due to its spatial quality and civic value, the interior design was awarded the prestigious international BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2026 in the Civic category.
