The Colour and Light in Architecture international conference is the first in Venice in this new millennium. It follows two previous national conferences held in Venice, concentrating on Italian interest in the topics of this event. Colour and Light in Architecture, an international two-day scientific conference for those interested in the history, human effects and design of colour and light (natural and artificial) on the built environment, approaches the themes in their broadest sense, including aesthetics, psychology, history, design, physics, sustainability, emotions, performance and communication. As noted above, it is the first international conference with a major focus on contemporary architectural processes related to the culture, design, perception of, and exposure to, natural and artificial lighting.
