Through the analysis of three Italian film, the essay traces commonalities between some forms of documentaires and landscapes of life. The essay deals with often invisible underground territoires which forcefully emerge from the orizons of the new "reality cinema". Radical aesthetic choices escape the rules of the landscape atmosphere as well as the glitter of tele-visions. They are works of modest marginality that tell stories of common existence. Films that are restless and aaware which broaden the possibility for a wider reflection on the new realism in the arts of the early millenium.
