L'Acqua come Indicatore nei metodi di valutazione della sostenibilità del costruito

Declarations and certifications are tools that becomes even more common at the aim to share information about the sustainability of the buildings. These tools are formed by indicators, organised in sustainable building rating systems, and based on guidelines and checklists that define minimum quality standard and/or best practices that may be assumed by the designers. A number of such indicators are focused on sources of water and its management in the building related activities, e.g.: water efficient fixtures, innovative wastewater technologies, limitation of the disruption of natural water hydrology, and practices for the reduction of pollutants. The paper aim to draw up a description of the information hold in the sustainable building rating systems that are more common at the international level: the study may be useful to read which are the international trends that describe the more efficient water use in the building sector.
