Come raccontarne la storia? La ricerca, muovendosi nell’ambito dei visual, degli urban e dei new media studies, si propone di costruire per questo brano di città, oggi sede della Peggy Guggenheim Collection, una sorta di atlante della memoria. In esso documenti scritti, immagini, video, modelli reali e virtuali, sono messi a sistema in un database online composto da una moltitudine di frammenti che, attraverso l’esplorazione dei fruitori, tracciano nuove storie, collegate alle vicende delle persone che abitarono questo luogo. Palazzo Venier dei Leoni is an unfinished architecture in the heart of Venice, furthermore a site that reminds to a series of figures, art collections, spaces in changing form. How to tell its story? The research , moving between visual, urban and new media studies, aims to build on this piece of the city, now home of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, a sort of Atlas of memory. In it written documents, images, videos, real and digital models, are systematized in an online database consists of a multitude of fragments, through the exploration of the users, blazing new stories, linked to the events of the people who inhabited this place.
