Il parco multimediale delle mura di Padova : valorizzazione di paesaggi e percorsi culturali in un'ottica creativa e innovativa

How to give back to the community a heritage like that of the eleven kilometers of the Padua renaissance walls? How to make it become a cultural asset of the same city? The "Parco multimediale delle mura" project has the ambition to find concrete answers through multimedia products to be 'set up' in the different sites and / or contexts that characterize the system of the walls of Padua. In particular we want to enhance the circuit of the walls, the bastions and the city gates that the Republic Serenissima in the early decades of the sixteenth century did design and build in defense of the city itself, and replacing the oldest walls, to be built to 'alla moderna', involving the major ballistic and military construction experts of the time. The project, which lasts one year, is led by four young researchers. The goal is to create, within a multidisciplinary project, the "Parco multimediale delle mura" understood as a virtual place of the bastion system. Three case studies have been identified to be used as prototypes of the project.
