The case study of flowers Industry shows us how for satisfying a passing fancy a lot of resources have been consumed. The issue concerns of sustainability through the analysis of the flower supply chain, and the activities developed for Monetti-Melform company. The research moves in this scenario: starting from the relationship between design and sustainable criteria of quality, it gives custody of the flower care to the idea of a new isothermal box for optimizing the trip of the flowers, through the process simplification, the reduction of the steps between the vehicles, the reduction of energy used for thermal regulation, the reduction of times and materials.
