The definition of Landscape, officially recognized by the European Landscape Convention (CoE, 2000), underlines the growing importance of cultural, symbolic and perceptive aspects in landscape planning. This research proposes a methodology to support land management aimed at: (i) promoting an integrated approach to landscape; (ii) raising awareness of environmental and landscape quality; (iii) enhancing collaborative tools. The described approach, which involves the use of participatory tools related to Citizen Science, potentially fits the dynamics of transformation and regeneration addressed to the “territories of illegalism”, which strongly depends on the interaction between citizens and territorial authorities. The identification of priority areas defined by local communities will provide the necessary indications for the achievement of urban and citizens' well-being. The aim of this study is therefore to conceive the landscape and its values as relevant elements in the processes of territorial management, and to improve landscape awareness and collaborative governance through innovative learning interventions.

Abstract
The aim of this study is therefore to conceive the landscape and its values as relevant elements in the processes of territorial management, and to improve landscape awareness and collaborative governance through innovative learning interventions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
