The International Symposium Caumme III hosted the first edition of PAUMME (Projects of Architecture & Urbanism in the Mediterranean & the Middle East): an exhibition of projects and architectural realizations linked to the conference themes, and including: projects built in the past 10 years that display experimental architectural/urban design features; projects located in the Mediterranean or Middle Eastern Regions designed by an architect or urban planner with based anywhere in the world; projects located anywhere in the world designed by an architect or urban planner based in a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern Region. PAUMME I project’s themes foresee new settlements, rearrangements of existing settlements, structures and infrastructures for immigration, migration of typologies and architectural languages. At the selection participated a team of AUIC School, involved in the 16th edition of Villard, an architectural design workshop dedicated to the urban regeneration of Pozzallo, a city used as "hotspots" during the migration crisis on 2015 and 2016.
