The paper presents the three-years research program in collaboration with the Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino and the eight institutions that constitute the Network of Historic House Museums of Poets and Writers in the Romagna region of Italy. The research project focuses on how to enhance a historic house museum and its heritage in relation to its existing museological and museographical condition. It also focuses on what role the historic house museum can play in the cultural development of the Romagna territory today.
