Today, the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage can play an important role for the renewal of the territory, if based on eco-systemic approach that relocates the legacy in a context of relationships, as an active part of an environmental and spatial regeneration, able to integrate architecture and landscape. The understanding of the production places provides insight into the form of existing and potential systemic values. The reconstruction of the events of decommissioning, abandonment and degradation is reflected in complex graphic representations, interpreting ruins shaped by time and by nature. Meanwhile other values and resources emerge from new scenarios and conformation processes. This is also where the architectural project locates itself, when it is paying attention to infrastructural systems, to those technical forms of artifacts and networks that are strategic for an integrated enhancement of the landscapes of production, by modeling the soil and governing the waters.
