Suggesting New Stories from Documents: the Vico Magistretti Archive Starting from the digital reorganization of the Magistretti Foundation’s archival materials, this contribution focuses on the creation of new possible narratives for the history of design, generated by the networking of digital assets. Today, the digital treatment of archival sources only partially concerns archiving systems, while digitisation – as in the past – concerns forms of research based on data and metadata, and the possibility of new connections, favored by new tools and the deconstruction of the original taxonomy of the archive.
