The subject of this contribution is a scene from the film L’assassino, Elio Petri’s debut film released in April 1961. The analysis is proposed as a useful tool for investigating the Museo delle Navi di Nemi, in particular its setting in the post World War II period, analysing how the museum appears in the film sequence.
