The proposed essay aims for investigate the contribution of Francesco Autoriello (1824-1894) in the topic of descriptive geometry and in particular of his treatise devoted to perspective, carrying out at the same time a synoptic analysis of the text compared to other similar works of authors (Italians and not) belonging to different schools and ages. The methodological approaches will be compared, for instance in the solution of skiagraphici problems, developed by the Author and those used by Domenico Tessari. Will be compared the different 'ideological' processes used by various authors to achieve the same result in geometric terms, even though with very different expressive effects.
