Abstract

Beginning with the experience of the editorial festival FEIQ curated by TANK serbatoio culturale (Bologna, October 2023), dedicated to performing arts, the essay reflects on the interconnections between publishing and performance in contemporary artistic practices. The analysis of Antonia Baehr's "Rire, laugh, Lachen" (2008) represents an embodied traversal of the space between practices, aimed at understanding the epistemic potential of publications. Beyond the metaphysics of presence, editorial projects promote an idea of choreography as a transmedial discursive entity with complex temporality, exceeding the here and now of live performance through a process of continuous spillover.
