The paper aims to discuss an aspect of the “Experimentation project for the implementation of the regional landscape plan” of Piedmont approved in 2017, i.e. the in-depth study (2021-2023) of the relationship between history of the territory, recognition of the territorial heritage and landscape interpretation (in landscape area 63 of the Plan). “Landscape biography” offers a method for relating historical analysis and the challenges posed by current spatial and landscape policies.
