New actors and infrastructures for the Economic and Spatial inclusion and innovation within the European Research Area. A mapping in Italy and in Veneto Region

The paper explores the new actors and new infrastructures of the European Research Area important both for innovation and for economic, social and spatial inclusion. They are also considered relevant actors for spatial planning and territorial governance. The contribution also presents a first attempt at mapping at a European, national and regional scale (in the Veneto region). The papers contained in this Catalogue cover the theme "Inclusive Cities and Regions/ Territoires inclusifs," chosen for the 14th edition, organized April 22-24, 2024, in Naples with INU as the main organizer. In this paper, inclusion is understood as a way to solve the "Regional Issues and Regional Inequality".
