The research deals with the adaptation of the built landscape of the Italian North East to climate change in order to achieve neutrality. The particular geographic and settlement configuration of Triveneto area and the current articulation of the energy sector lead to the construction of scenarios for two of the area’s most energy-intensive and emissive sectors: the industrial and residential sectors. The ratio used to approach the retrofit follows two distinct strategies: on one side, the construction of regulatory scenarios to visualise what would happen in the area by applying the European Green Deal and its derivatives, on the other side, the construction of scenarios that look at the same vulnerability but through adaptation, which implies change of everyday habits.

Abstract
The research deals with the adaptation of the built landscape of the Italian North East to climate change in order to achieve neutrality. The particular geographic and settlement configuration of Triveneto area and the current articulation of the energy sector lead to the construction of scenarios for two of the area’s most energy-intensive and emissive sectors: the industrial and residential sectors. The ratio used to approach the retrofit follows two distinct strategies: on one side, the construction of regulatory scenarios to visualise what would happen in the area by applying the European Green Deal and its derivatives, on the other side, the construction of scenarios that look at the same vulnerability but through adaptation, which implies change of everyday habits.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
