The research project Quero-Vas: Active Itineraries among Traces of Memories (2022–2023) explores strategies for socio-economic and cultural development in the specific area. Collaborating with the Municipality of Quero Vas, the research design team of the Università Iuav di Venezia aims to integrate territorial enhancement with community engagement, including both the tangible and intangible local heritage. Grounded in the disciplines of Social Innovation, Service Design, and Design for Territorial and Local Development, the project begins by mapping the area’s physical and cultural assets. The research emphasizes the need to involve residents, combining in-person and digital community-building efforts to foster a renewed territorial identity. The project’s key output is the creation of a Civic Digital Collection, an open archive for preserving and sharing collective memory through citizen participation and multimedia storytelling and for local empowerment and cohesion.
