Abstract
Experimental research activities for restoration are fundamental in all phases of the project, yet they still face practical and budgetary difficulties in professional practice. Tight schedules and a weak culture of planning limit their application. Experience shows, however, that coordination among skills, promoted by the site supervision, enables a targeted planning of diagnostic investigations. The paper discusses case studies, analytical methodologies, and the central role of stratigraphic analysis as a knowledge base for improving the quality of restoration projects.File in questo prodotto:
