A solar plant was installed with a surface area of 440 m2 of evacuated tube collectors, a reflecting surface of the sane area and an absorption refrigeration system for air conditioning the CERIT building of Pordenone (Italy). A 43 m3 heat storage unit, at temperature of 80 - 90 °C and a 150 m3 cold storage unit were also installed. These components form the largest solar cooling plant in Europe. After 2 years of operation, it is possible to evaluate the project as a whole, and to appreciate the contribution of the flat solar reflector and the working of the absorbtion unit.

Abstract
A solar plant was installed with a surface area of 440 m2 of evacuated tube collectors, a reflecting surface of the sane area and an absorption refrigeration system for air conditioning the CERIT building of Pordenone (Italy). A 43 m3 heat storage unit, at temperature of 80 - 90 °C and a 150 m3 cold storage unit were also installed. These components form the largest solar cooling plant in Europe. After 2 years of operation, it is possible to evaluate the project as a whole, and to appreciate the contribution of the flat solar reflector and the working of the absorbtion unit.File in questo prodotto:
