Abstract

It is sure that contemporary architecture has folded itself to influence of formal metamorphoses, about this it is spoken many times. In the last years two tendencies made their way: from a part the deformation hits the objects as they were bodies liquids, in name of a fluid curvilinearity, dynamics due to multiple geometric operations, than the solid modelling can offer. This variety of architecture, generalized in a shapeless mass, suspended between geometric rule and evasive tectonics, it takes name of Blob. On the other hand, cultural inheritance left to the posterity, from a Deconstructivism, that we could say digitalized, also maintaining the logical ones of the taking apart of versatile figures, then reassembled in strident units, folds the plans in motion, sharpening them like blades of shavers towards imaginary points of escape. Both the roads embrace similar methods of modelling, based on techniques of projective deformation, morphing, warping.
