Monica Centanni introduces the words of Faucault with the definition of parrhesia as an act of human courage and a political act. Parrhesia is precisely the action by which, in the assembly where the laws are equal for all citizens and all citizens have guaranteed the right to speak, a citizen stands up and takes the floor, playing his aretè , his virtues of wisdom, of rhetorical technique, of individual courage.
